Join Our Earth Day Celebration 2016
Come be green with us on Earth Day, Saturday, April 23 from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Furnace Creek Ranch.
Over 1 billion people in 193 counties observe Earth Day each year, and 2016 marks the 46th anniversary of the holiday which started right here in California. To celebrate, Furnace Creek Resort, in conjunction with the National Park Service, Death Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Amargosa Conservancy will be hosting an Earth Day Celebration!
Learn about our 1.2 megawatt, 4 acre solar facility, our unique gravity fed water system and our Audubon Certified Golf Course Sanctuary. With fun activities for children of all ages, free tastings of sustainable cuisine, a Biodiesel Demonstration by our Golf Management team, art and collectibles available for purchase, live musical entertainment by four piece acoustic group Quarry – we’ll have something for everyone! After all, Every Day is Earth Day at Furnace Creek.
