Play the World’s Lowest-Elevation Golf Course in the Heart of Death Valley National Park
The Furnace Creek Golf Course at Death Valley offers great California desert resort golf, a unique golf vacation and an ideal winter getaway. At 214 feet below sea level, this 18-hole, par 70 course is 
also the world’s lowest elevation golf course. Palm and tamarisk trees frame the fairways and majestic mountains are visible from all areas of the course.
Rated one of “America’s 50 Toughest Courses” by Golf Digest and a “Golfer’s Choice” for pace of play according to GolfNow, The Furnace Creek Golf Course at Death Valley offers golfers the chance to test their mettle against the low elevation, low barometric pressure, and perhaps even a coyote or two, that will make a golf ball dance in mysterious ways.
It’s one thing to play below par. It’s another thing to play 214 ft below sea level.
The Wild Rose Pro Shop hours are 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday through Monday until May 11th. The Golf Pro Shop and Course are currently closed Tuesday and Wednesday until further notice (subject to change).
Starting May 12th through September: The Wild Rose Pro Shop hours are 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm, Thursday through Monday.

Course Dress Code
Please be aware that Furnace Creek Golf Course strictly enforces proper golfing attire. Golfers arriving to play that are not in compliance with our dress code will be asked to change prior to teeing off. Clothing that is NOT appropriate includes: gym shorts, sweatpants, swimming attire, sports jerseys and other dress that is deemed inappropriate.
*Denim is acceptable, BUT ONLY if in good and/or new condition. NO HOLES OR CUT-OFFS.

- Shorts must be Bermuda-length

The Furnace Creek Golf Course at Death Valley is a soft spike facility (no metal spikes).
