On December 19, 2025, Southern California Edison will be conducting repairs to the electrical grid within Death Valley National Park between the hours of 8am and 4pm. During these hours there will be no power to any of our facilities at The Oasis at Death Valley.
For guests checking in on December 19, check-ins will not be available until the power is restored. Services that require power–like Wi-Fi, cell service, EV chargers, and in-room amenities such as air conditioning–will not be available during the power outage. Water, however, will be available
For those who are on-property during the outage, meals will be available throughout the day at the Wild Rose Tavern and lunch will be served at the Borax Grill beginning at 11am. Both are located at The Ranch.
Our retail outlets–General Store, Wild Rose Golf Shop, Gas Station (gas pumps only)–and all outdoor activities will be open.
Please note that the times stated above may vary due to the duration of the power outage. If work goes longer than 4pm, certain services may be affected.
