Death Valley is a unique and special place. Amid the stark, arid landscape, life thrives. For the endemic Pupfish to the people that have called it home for a thousand years, the land provides all that is needed. Our partner, the Sanctuary at Death Valley, and The Oasis at Death Valley invite you to a weekend of relaxation, recharging, and immersion in the natural beauty of this true American Oasis.
Once booked, call The Sanctuary at Death Valley at 775-977-2202 to reserve your activities or discounted spa services. For those not staying at The Oasis, you can reserve your spot for our retreat wellness activities at sanctuaryatdv.com or by calling 775-977-2202 for $79 per Wellness Activity.
Our robust program is designed to offer you a diverse menu of activities to nurture yourself and still give you plenty of time to explore the wonders that surround us. Deserts across cultures are revered as a place of spiritual renewal, and ours is no exception. As your body ushers in newfound relaxation, it’s time to find your peace of mind. 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. | Body-Mind Centered Therapy in Oasis Room Part Two: Wild Truth |
Most of us think we’re listening but we’re already halfway to our reply. Most of us think we’re speaking but our words are filtered through fear, hurry, or habit. In this session, we will explore what it feels like to be truly heard and how we respond to listening without having to respond. We’ll explore what gets in the way; racing thoughts, nervous fidgets, the urge to fix and use somatic practices to help you stay grounded, present, and safe in your own skin while you connect. Why it matters: When your words rise from a rooted body, they carry clarity and power. When you listen with your whole being, you build trust. This presence changes everything: conflict, love, leadership, and the small everyday moments where connection is possible. | |
